The Windrush Inn - Witney

During our first visit to the Windrush Inn with our family, who live nearby, we were pleased to see how seriously the establishment takes food and customer service. The staff were friendly, attentive, and efficient, handling all our inquiries professionally. The quality of the food was excellent; even a simple dish like chicken wings stood out and enhanced our midday experience. It's clear that the chef has a great understanding of food preparation. We will definitely be eating here again!

We had a wonderful evening celebrating my 40th birthday. The staff were all fantastic, and the chef at the carvery was especially attentive, making sure to bring smiles to the children's faces even when they were upset. I highly recommend The Wind Rope for anyone looking for a group booking or a quiet meal. It was truly fantastic!

I've visited this pub many times, and I must say the service is consistently friendly, welcoming, and well-organized. I don’t know anyone’s name, so please forgive me, but the gentleman in charge creates a wonderfully inviting atmosphere. The fantastic team is clearly well-managed and attentive. The Sunday carvery is a lovely way to spend the day, offering a beautiful, stylish, and satisfying meal. The staff is incredible, and the chef prepares an excellent menu. Ordered a Christmas dinner to save cooking for 2, took Christmas Eveseve (and was already ready even though I was early) and had a nice pint. excellent food and service. have had many Sunday dinners to take away through locks and could not blame any of them! great place when they pass or a native. 100% recommended! thanks mia and jeremy

The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, the food is first class. I had the butchers block and it was cooked beautifully. The staff were attentive but not overbearing. I strongly recommend the windrush inn.
