Tudor Tea Rooms - Wivenhoe

This is one of my favorite places to lunch! Unfortunately, sometimes I can't get there as often as I would like, but I'll try to fix that as much as possible. I tend to have the same court again and again because katies version is the best thing I can find and it is too polite to recommend that I might try something else but not follow my lack of imagination and try the great variety of appetit choices! it is a pleasure to be served from there and say a hearty farewell to michael, as I may by the deli buy a cake for later). all in all, a great place to visit when in wivenhoe.

Such beautiful products, beautiful eating and wonderful owners make this place perfect for lunch and all their delicate needs! cheese, meat, bread and much more!

Super fab little place. Lovely food cooked just right. Historic and characterful building. Great professional service. Very reasonable prices. Also adjacent to the deli, so handy for a bit of shopping after a meal (or after a tea, or coffee!

Amazing vegan options and the food is so lovingly made and delicious! Staff are wonderful and there is no awkward waiting times. This is also a great place to get a coffee and a homemade cake if you're tired after a long walk on the historical Wivenhoe trail. I know the owners well enough to know they're hardworking, genuine and kind people and have shown me true hospitality.

Always lovely food, excellent friendly staff. They gave me a carrier bag to take one of their cup cakes away on bike. Always good experience, would highly recommend.
