Strega Italiano – Woburn

The restaurant wasn't busy. The kitchen was loud, servers were fine. But the food was subpar. The bread was heated in a microwave and a gum. The food wasn't what was expected for the price.

We used to be regular pre Covid so did not know what to expect now. Our experience was exceptional. We were reminded of how good they can taste food with great presentation and the highest quality ingredients. We had made Lobster ravioli house and Top Notch. The Seafood Spaghetti was the highest level of this dish that we have ever tried everywhere with perfect garden spaghetti and the freshest shellfish. The sauce was delicious. The Scallop Risotto presented perfectly bruised scallops and a wonderful savory risotto. Strega is known for their steaks, but we can choose their seafood. This restaurant is a cut over the other.

Food was terrible, they should conclude that we are ill

The hostess was terrible, she was mean and I was welcoming. She ruined the whole culinary experience and it was a birthday party, we were not greeted in a mild warm way. She was cold and not helpful. Our waiter was brilliant and he made it so that we didn't go out. The food was okay. We wanted to enjoy and love this place so much. Perhaps you will inform your hostesses who even smile a tiny bit to help your cartridges feel welcome.

I don't love the new menu at this Strega location. Our table also had trouble with out first server and he was replaced after drink orders. Thought the food was average for the price.
