The chocolate cake was gone before I could photograph it, a delicious treat, as was the cherry ripe slice. The furniture was retro/rustic, they seated inside and out. Inside the cafe local goods were displayed for sale. The staff, although they were not unkind, showed more friendliness to the locals. Coffee was brilliant (Merlo beans Overall it was a perfect lunch stop on our road trip :
Stopped in for a road trip lunch break. We chose it based on good reviews and it was a good call. The cafe is in a charming old building just a minute out of town, with lots of parking. Retro/rustic decor, indoor and outdoor seating. It was late afternoon so there weren't a lot of food options but the sandwich and toasties we had were delicious. There's a yummy range of sweets, the flourless chocolate cake is divine. Great coffee (Merlo) and clearly the staff know the locals as there were plenty of people popping in on a dreary winter's afternoon for a coffee and a chat.
Friendly staff, quick service, nice environment, a not massive but varied selection of food and capital G-reat coffee; ticks all the boxes for me!
Always great food, coffee and service at this lovely cafe. Their Gluten Free offerings are quite extensive and delicious. Rod and Amanda have done an outstanding job and please continue to be a visible presence to keep up the wonderful standard you have set. It is your flagship.
Only came here for a coffee and at four in the afternoon it was still buzzing with an eclectic crowd. Coffee was great and i hope at some point to have a meal here too.
