Unfortunately not recommended... we were alone in the Schürhoff at the time and waited a whopping 80 minutes for our food. We had all only ordered schnitzel and fries, as unfortunately most of them could not be ordered or were out , just as menus and gravy were not enough for us, so these had to be shared. Not nice, especially at a price of €3.90 per portion of sauce, of which we had 7 but only 3 sauces. We were greeted at the table by 3 mosquitoes swimming in the vase. The order was taken quickly, the rest was sub-par. When it was finally time to eat, a couple of fries came first. In between, optionally the schnitzel. With 9 adults and 4 children, the whole thing meant that the fries had already been eaten when the schnitzel came. no-go In addition, 2 portions of fries were forgotten, although the order was repeated at the beginning so that everything fits. A good approach, but poorly executed. A normal schnitzel with sauce and mushrooms ultimately cost over €20, which can no longer be justified with inflation or a lack of skilled workers. Incidentally, simply not tolerable for the sports field ambience. And the big announced fresh food was not the super cracker, but just disappointing. Unfortunately no recommendation. We won 't come back. Addendum to owner 's response: I don 't know who answered yes to your question; I certainly wasn 't, for I was just part of the company, not the host. According to the host, it was only agreed à la carte with a little more time, the remaining defects certainly not. I could list more things that didn 't fit at all, e.g. the mozzarella ran out and the schnitzel had to be baked with mountain cheese, etc... I 've never experienced anything like today in the catering trade. You can 't seem to cope with factual criticism because you become so aggressive straight away.
We helped a friend move from Oberhausen to Sulzheim. His partner and he invited us to dinner with Schürhoff. Short call, whether on. Since it was warm, we sat outside on the terrace. We had the Winzer-Schnitzel, the Big Cheesy Giant Burger with cheese sauce and homepommes, the Crispy Chicken Strips and cheese parrots. Everything was freshly prepared. It was mega tasty and the spouses were very friendly. We've been talking a long time. Thanks for the great evening
Three of us ate there on Sunday (July 30, 23). The food was a very, very positive surprise because it brought new and great flavors to our palate. The service from the daughter of the house was very courteous and she answered all of our questions (I'm just curious) happily and very nicely. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
I absolutely cannot understand the negative comments here. It feels like we've been to the Schürhoff for the 10th time, we've already tried everything on the menu. And every dish is an absolute culinary delight. An absolute taste explosion. Really tasty. You can tell that the food is freshly prepared, yes, and you need some time for that, but there are no finished products from the pack on the table, but a delicious freshly prepared meal. The children can play outside for free, the staff is super friendly and you can also have a great chat with them while you wait. What more do you want. I also think it's great that Schürhoff is sustainable and always buys the food fresh, depending on how much has been reserved, so food isn't wasted and discarded like in other restaurants. Just always call ahead and reserve a very simple principle. We will always come back. Conclusion: Anyone who likes poor food (frozen products) should stay away from the Schürhoff. And if you don't know about good American food and don't want to have this experience of good American food, you shouldn't write reviews.
