China Chef - Woking

I decided to pre-order a takeaway as I knew it could get busy on a Saturday night. I placed my order at 5:26 pm for delivery at 7:45 pm. However, by 8 pm it still hadn't arrived, so my husband called to inquire about its status. The woman on the phone was very rude, claiming she was busy and that just because we had ordered in advance didn't guarantee prompt delivery. This made the pre-order service seem rather pointless. She informed us it would still be a while longer. At this point, my husband went to pick it up in hopes of expediting the process, only to find that it was still being cooked. When we finally got it home, the food was greasy and we even found a long black hair in it. Needless to say, we will not be ordering from this restaurant again.

My daughter ordered takeout and encountered a defensive woman from the start. The food arrived promptly, but the portion of duck was much smaller than expected. When I called to address the issue, the woman insisted that was the size sent by the supplier and did not offer any resolution. The food was decent, but the small portion size and lack of customer service will prevent us from returning. It seems the management prioritizes profit over providing good service.

The food was delicious and delivered quickly. We enjoyed crispy beef, chicken balls, ribs, chow mein, squid, and more. Everything was perfect and we could not find any faults.
