Unfortunately, my suspicions were correct as I later experienced severe vomiting and other unpleasant symptoms after consuming the sandwich. The effects continued for hours, with the creature inside me seemingly taking control. By the third day, I was still suffering and felt compelled to warn others about the darkness that had taken hold of me. I hope that no one else has to endure the same ordeal and that I can rid myself of this torment soon.
We used to frequent this coffee shop regularly and it was good, but there has been a recent change in management resulting in 90% of the staff leaving. This morning, there was a 20-minute wait in the queue because there was a new person at the till. The inexperienced young lady working on the coffee machine was struggling, and there was no management in sight. Costa's upper management needs to step up their game. This situation is unacceptable.
This restaurant typically serves good coffee with friendly staff who are always smiling and attentive. However, the atmosphere is like a typical Tesco store, so be sure to dress warmly. The food and dessert selection is average compared to other places, but it's convenient, especially if you need to do some shopping.
With Costa you always know what you're going to get and this branch is no exception. Staff polite and attentive, drinks consistent, lemon muffin always a reliable choice. The tables were kept cleared and seating area was tidy.
Set in Tesco supermarket the area is small and not really separate from the shop could do with some privacy/ plants to separate it. Always busy but managed to get a seat, bonus when I visited a tea was a £1 selection of cakes and sandwiches are ok. Good thing is parking is free and handy.
