2 Smoking Barrels - Wollongong

Although the ambiance of the restaurant was charming with smoked barrels, our experience was disappointing. After waiting for more than 30 minutes for a burger, we decided to leave. We witnessed other customers receiving their meals after us, but we never had the chance to try the food ourselves. Unfortunately, we cannot comment on the taste since we did not have the opportunity to eat.

I stayed overnight in a nearby motel and went for a hike in the late afternoon. I stumbled upon this small restaurant right at opening time (5pm) and had a delicious meal. It was clear that the locals were familiar with the place as it was packed. I ordered some popcorn chicken, which was not like KFC, but still delicious. The atmosphere was very cool and the staff was friendly. Overall, it was a winner in my book.

The food had excellent flavors, although it was a bit pricey, it was definitely worth it. The waitstaff was outstanding, friendly, and very helpful. I will definitely return.

Excellent quality, worth for money, slow cooked delicious meat, try the beef basket and mac / cheese! the service is always fast and the special worth more than a trip.

Dirty Mike's Cheeseburger and shaker fries....yum. Just yum... Very very busy and probably too many people queued up inside as it got busier. Maybe the guy taking the orders could be left to just do that instead of trying to do other jobs when there...are busy periods. Still great though.
