Factory - Ribs Steak Pizza - Wollongong

I wanted to treat my father for lunch. As it was a Monday, not many places were open. We chose this restaurant because it used to be quite nice. Not anymore. My mash potatoes were lumpy and tasteless. My veg was muddy and tasted like water. The Avacado chicken was okay. Dad had a scavenger and the chips were overwhelmed....come on people. I work in hospitality. I'm sorry to write this criticism. The staff was pleasant and venue amazing.

We went for a birthday celebration with 6 couples. The atmosphere of the club is nice and we had heard the food was good. I had a vegetarian pizza which had a beetroot paste as base. Unfortunately it was very sweet so not enjoyable at...all. My husband had the pork knuckle which was tough and not cooked right through, it was on a base of lumpy, cold mash so seemed to have been out of the fridge and not heated through. I won’t speak on behalf of others. As this was a birthday celebration we did not complain or make a fuss, perhaps in hindsight we should have. I would not go back.

Held a family celebration at this venue the service was very good. There is a number of food courts to choose from and there was a range of meals ordered from different food courts. While there was large quantities on the plates the quality...of the food was average. Would prefer less quantity more quality.

The atmosphere of the Factory Restaurant is very pleasing. My wife and I both ordered the lunchtime Ribs special. There were not many people in the restaurant but we still had to wait 30 minutes for our food to turn up. Unfortunately the wait did...not improve the taste of the Ribs as they were very tough and chewy. The chips, that came with the Ribs, were excellent but we went there for the Ribs so were disappointed. Please note that for those who need accessible access to the restaurant you will need to get the lift down to Bar67 and walk through to the Factory.
