Aunt Sally's - Wolverhampton

Last sunday we went to Aunty Sally after the Wolves game. Had a lovely jerk chicken. Not to spicy and very tender. My mate got a dumpling to try and he liked it a lot. Very nice lady behind the till there. Will definately come back when im in Wolverhampton.

Very tasty jerk chicken. A little spicier then some of the places you can go but fantastic spice and flavour. Don't like the mutton. But the jerk is tasty

I had to give 1 circle to allow me to write this review, however I would have given absolutely nothing. If you want real West Indian food, go to Handworth as we only came here because they were closed. Food was bland, chicken boiled with some thrown in oil and chilly. I had to add salt to the rice give me microwaved uncle bens any day over this. kfc/or even a Maccies. Save your money, or only go in for a bottled drink.

Ordered the hake which was extremely greasy, dumpling and rice were okay, slightly odd taste. Mutton was cooked perfectly and chicken coco bread was good. Quick service.

Im not one to write reviews, im a very easy going person but this was just p*s s taking.The food is nasty. It's an absolute disappointment and as a Jamaican I guarantee this is not a good representation. I like supporting my culture/ppl but I got to be honest. I bought the oxtail, rice and peas and fried plantains. The food comes in one box and is a dark poo looking puddle swallowing the rice. The oxtail is tough. Absolutely leather and tasteless and the rice also not cooked well, really tough. The plantain is burnt and just a saggy oily mess. For £17.00(including 2.50 delivery) what a waste, shouldn't pay even a £1. Tasteless and unappetizing. I'm gonna bin it. SAVE YOUR MONEY!
