The barmaid was very rude to me left my drink standing on the bar for 10 minutes I went up telling her I had made a order for my table and asked if it was definitely my drink she sarcastically said does it look like it? So I just simply said yes and she shouted well take it then. No need for sarcasm it should have been bought to my table ages and yes I did see this barmaid too busy showing her colleague photos on her Facebook. Don’t know how some Wetherspoons staff get away with not only being rude but being so lazy and staring at their phone as well.

The moment you enter this bar you'r greeted by special people who instantly make you feel like your home.The seating area is very large so you can always find and place to sit down and drink or enjoy some nice pub food also .The staff are like my own son and daughter very special people indeed. I always have same tipple as I'm like that way and its cheapest pint in town.I have occasionally eaten here and it was excellent .Reminder to myself must try more of the menu when I get a chance . Recommend this bar very highly to all.See you al again very soon.love you all

Ordered drinks on app and they sat on bar for 20 minutes until I had to get up and fetch them myself terrible sevice

Breakfast was horrid eggs well overdone and sent back, replaced but those not much better, over done veggie sausage, shriveled up tomato and mushroom, toast was just warm bread.

Ate here Saturday night prior to heading to get a live music fix. The thing about Wetherspoons is that a) you tend to get what you pay for and b) they tend to fall short on expectation somewhere. Considering the location, right in the middle of a fairly uninspiring high street, this place is spot on. It was fairly quiet for a Saturday evening, but got served almost immediately. Another customer dived in to complain that he hadn’t been served his Guinness, and the bar tender bless her gave him his answer very politely. The food order arrived promptly and was fine, it even seems like WS have increased the quota of chips !. Whilst we ate, a guy we assume was manager asked if all was OK, then returned to remove the plates and finally the empty glasses. Great Wetherspoons highly recommended.
