Palace Diner - Wood River Junction

The veggie omelette was a little bit watery, but the best home fries I’ve ever had.

This diner was so much fun! Their menu is huge and our waitress was so nice. We stopped here to have soup and dessert before a show at the Bardavon. The strawberry cheesecake was huge! And soooo yummy! Exactly the stop we needed in New York!

Had a good Reuben, my partner had French toast and bacon, everything was good, but the butter was fake instead of real. Other than that, everything was good, service was very good.

Been going here for years but the service has gone so far down hill I will never be returning. Just called to order food to pick up and the woman who answered the phone had the absolute nastiest attitude all bc i asked for plain chicken tenders for my son and not buffalo? Lol okay. Used to frequently go here for lunch as well since my office is around the corner but the in-person service is just as terrible lately.
