Casey's General Store - Wood River

I went to grab a pizza and some water, but unfortunately, they didn’t have water in the fountain machine. However, I managed to enjoy a delicious slice of pizza. Here’s my rating: Food: 4, Service: 3, Atmosphere: 4.

This pizza is like god. I swear. My only problem is the atmosphere of the place. It is highly uncomfortable, however I also have high anxiety that is triggered by pizza places. Not sure if that makes a difference but this place is great and does the job too well...

My only complaint about this particular store is the restroom. There is only one restroom and it is unisex so the line can be a little long at times. Its also kind of embarrassing that it is so close to the cash register.

As I was checking out, Jose approached the counter next to the cashier and just stared at me, making the situation even more uncomfortable. His behavior was highly unprofessional, and it’s surprising that a well-regarded establishment like Casey's would employ someone like him. Overall, my experience was disappointing.

The food is excellent, but the cashier named Kelly was quite disrespectful and impolite. Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
