I went in today and was trying to look at the menu but the lady there would not stop talking telling me about the buffet and how fresh everything was. I finally ordered two combo hamburgers, combo being burger fries and a drink. Unfortunately this place serves Pepsi and I've found that any restaurant serving Pepsi is second rate. The hamburgers were too thick, the tomato and onion on them very poorly cut up, just a chunk here and there. I looked at the menu later at home since the lady there wouldn't let me study it in the restaurant. The list of sandwiches and pizza looked pretty unremarkable. If the buffet is the same quality as the burgers I'll have to pass. The place is a little hard to find and you need to enter the building (number 5) and go down the hall a way and take the elevator down one floor. Then the back door opens to the elevator and there it is. Everything may be fresh but would be better if it tasted good and was prepared correctly.
Located in the basement of the development services building. Good homemade food. Love their calzones. Buffet is normally salad bar, pizza, chicken wings, and 1 other random dish. Staff is very friendly.
So worth the trip into the County Complex in Woodbridge! The food is just as wonderful as the owners!
Jimmy's has been in the Development Services Building at the McCoart Complex for several years now, after moving out of the plaza at Galveston off of Hoadly Road. They offer a lunch buffet, which typically has soup, salad, pizza and wings. They also offer sandwiches and subs and breakfast too. Their pizza is pretty good.
