Each visit gets progressively worse, for some unknown reason food, service, etc. The restaurant was nearly empty, but we waited over 20 minutes before a server approached our table. The cheese dip was the highlight, but the rest of the food was overcooked and not nearly as good as our past experiences. I'm not sure what's going on with this place, but we miss the old Los Toltecos.
Great customer service, clean space, and good food.
Generally speaking, this is a good restaurant with good service but, recently I ordered a Jambalaya burrito. It is supposed to have shrimp but I barely had.it was disappointing because it seemed they cut a single jumbo shrimp, cut it in 4-5 pieces and put them at both ends. Also, while the meal tasted good with the sauces they put on, the meat itself tasted unseasoned when you it eat separately. Parking: They have plenty parking space.
I would gladly give them 5 stars but unfortunately it seem that this chain is going downhill… I used to love to go there for awesome food, great service and atmosphere, but last two years are showing decrease in all above. Is it because economy or because they turned into a chain, I can’t tell. Stuff looks worn out, food is tasty but I remember being unbelievably great. Not the case now. It’s ok. Too bad, I really loved this place.
I took my son out to dinner, and everything was amazing! First, their chips and salsa are always perfect! We both ordered the Steak Veracruz Steak with shrimp and scallops topped off with cheese and green tomatillo sauce. It also comes with rice, beans, and tortillas...mmmmm. Our server, Daniel, was the best. He was quick, attentive, and friendly. He also had a great sense of humor. Thank you!!
