Come to dinner now? we ordered summer roll, beef Pho, salmon grass grilled beef and Thai tea with Boba? Summer rolls salad was all frozen, black.after a bite or 2 I lost my appetite! Thai-Tees boba was all so hard, not even chewable! Grilled beef served them in such a small part and smells like blood! Damn couldn't feel anything to throw whatever eaten!!!
It is the only place I can find Boba tea flavors that are actually sour/tart. I don't care that the containers they use look like taste drainage cleaners. My fight to get a Boba tea that doesn't taste like the cast of Candy Land Crusaders: The search for MOAR Sugar is real. I experienced persecution. I'm a death destroyer of the worlds... your path mi is not the best.
They don't care about customers and are far away from the courtesy you expect when you eat. We went for dinner and after waiting for more than 20 minutes to take our order or even get a glass of water, the person behind the counter aggressively, just to ask him how long it would take to be served.
Make yourself a favor and skip this place. Even after paying extra for a double part of the protein, the amount I got would have been disappointing, even if I had not specifically asked and paid extra. In addition, the whole meat came before boiled and overcooked, which I never saw at an authentic Pho place. It is possible that they do so to ensure food safety, but that was still a first for me. ALL of the vegetables that came with the Pho and in the spring rolls were slim and definitely not fresh. Pho was served with a single slice of Jalapeño, which was actually only the tip of a pepper (with the stem) beveled and sat in it - no seeds and no taste made. I also have only one half of a single slice of lime. I will say that the broth was surprisingly rich and tasteful; it was under salt, but this is easy enough to repair at home. The Boba smoothie was also quite delicious. Overall a disappointing experience. I felt like I had paid a premium for food without a heart at all and that everything was done as cheaply as possible, regardless of customer experience or pleasure.
We have been four times and this is quickly becoming our go to for Pho on the easetern side of the county. The recipes are traditional and from the owners grandmother. My wife and I stick to the vegan side of the menu and enjoy the veggie pho as well as veggie rice noodle. My sister loves the lemon grass beef rice noodle. The only reason it is not 5 stars is because I do feel they have smaller portions sizes compared to Viet Fortune or Vietnam 75. But overall this is our go to place for Pho.
