Despite being aware that he was working alone and service might be slow, it would have been more beneficial for him to hire additional help. As I patiently waited for my order, I observed him assisting another customer who was paying with cash. It surprised me that after handling potentially dirty money, he did not wash his hands or change his gloves before preparing the next customer’s food. When I requested a chicken shawarma pita, he reached for the pita without changing his gloves. Politely, I asked him to switch gloves due to hygiene concerns, as he had just handled cash. He complied, but then accused me of not wearing a mask, insinuating it was a COVID-related issue. My primary concern was sanitation, not coronavirus precautions. Ironically, he himself was not wearing a mask, which seemed hypocritical. When I questioned his lack of mask, he justified it by saying it was hot in the restaurant. While I understand his point, it was unfair for him to criticize me for not wearing a mask when he wasn't either. Basic culinary hygiene dictates that hands must be washed before handling food. Additionally, when I attempted to pay with Apple Pay, he displayed rudeness and impatience when it didn't work on the first try. He even tried to forcefully take my phone from me as I attempted to make the payment. Overall, his behavior was unacceptable, and it left me questioning the type of person I wanted preparing my meal.
I sent in today to get two dinner plates for lunch one for my wife and the other for myself. I ordered just the rice and chicken plate dinner and my wife the falafel plate dinner. I was very disappointed. First of all, the lady plated the rice for both meals and set them up with salads way before cooking the meat so it just sits there and starts to cool. This obviously would cause the rice to be less then warm and chicken moderately warm when eating. My wifes plate was fine other then not very hot.The chicken plate that I ordered she got a smaller box then the dinner for it like the falafel she had for my wife 's dinner plate. Very little chicken was provided with the meal on top with lots of rice compared the multiple places i 've gone and paid for a plate for 12-13 dollars with way larger portions. She said she portioned it . I give this a one star for the way the food order is prepared and for the value of my money compared to the multiple shawarma places that provide a valued service. Thanks
This is the best food I have ever had! I love chicken dishes, and I stumbled upon this restaurant while passing by. The staff was extremely polite and helpful. The food was incredibly fresh and delicious, with just the right amount of garlic and spice. I absolutely loved this restaurant and highly recommend it to everyone! The customer service was amazing, and they went above and beyond to ensure that the customers were happy, always with a big smile on their faces.
Excellent service, huge portions amazing customer service !! 5 out of 5!
The pros were that the shawarma was okay and the prices were competitive. However, there were several cons. We were not greeted when we arrived, and there was only one worker who was constantly on the phone with a wired earpiece before, during, and after taking our order. It was difficult to communicate with them due to a covid barrier and the earpiece. We had to repeat ourselves multiple times at different volumes. The table by the window was dirty from previous customers, and the fries we ordered were unsalted and tasted like they had been frozen for a long time. We had to rely on the gravy we got with it for any flavor. Two stars are only given because the lady who handed us our food was nice, but overall it was a disappointing experience. To make matters worse, I was the only customer there, and it felt like I was disrupting the worker's routine. Pictures have been attached for reference.
