Sugarr Donuts - Woodhaven

We stopped by after flying into DTW. The donuts are okay. The toppings are delicious but the donut itself aren't that great. The dough lacked flavor. They were also dry and tasted kind of old. They didn't seem fresh at all. Not a top favorite donut place. My husband tried a cold coffee drink, he didn't care for it.

Just went there 4/8/21, business is completely gone. They need to take down their Wyandotte website or update that it's permanently closed. Very frustrating to drive a distance and then find they are not in business with no indication. Krispy Kreme ended up getting my business.

I ordered a chocolate glazed and a strawberry filled donut. Unfortunately, both donuts seemed stale. The texture of the strawberry donut was very dense, with just a small amount of red jelly filling. This made it unappealing both in appearance and taste. The chocolate glazed donut wasn't much better, as it also seemed stale and overly dense. Although I typically support small businesses, I won't be returning to this restaurant. I ended up throwing away both donuts.

I recently visited Sugarr's new restaurant in Trenton. The donuts were delicious and fun, the coffee was great, and the service was excellent!

The donuts were mediocre and the customer service sucked. First the donuts. Just putting a bunch of cereal on top of a donut doesn 't make it special. The donut itself was underwhelming, adding a sugary frosting and cereal doesn 't help at all. The customer service? Alyssa has a unique way of seeming nice while being condescending. Its sad when someone hates their job and takes it out on customers. If you want delicious donuts, make the trip to Krispy Kreme. Excellent donuts and customer service.
