The Boiling Crab - Woodland Hills

I'll make this quick and simple because people love my short but accurate reviews.

This was my first visit to the restaurant, and I chose to come dressed nicely. I ordered the boiled snow crab legs and shrimp with mild shabam seasoning. I found the crab much easier to crack open, and the body was the most tender part. Overall, it was delicious. Although I can't handle spicy food well and found it to be a bit spicy, it was still manageable. The shrimp, however, didn't impress me given the effort required to eat it, so I didn't mind too much when one slipped out of my hand and splattered all over me. I'm definitely interested in coming back, but next time I'll wear more comfortable clothing.

If you enjoy a messy dining experience, this restaurant is perfect for you. If you're visiting with a large group (around 12 people), be prepared for a wait of about an hour. The food is tasty, and the service from the waitress was outstanding.

This location is so dry and overpriced. We got their 'extra juicy ' add on (which was $4.50 and there was literally nothing in there! If that was their extra juicy, then the regular must be dry rub cause that was insane. It was so dry, it 's worse than the california drought. We asked if that was the standard and they said they could add more but it would be another charge. Yeah, no thanks. It took a while, the servers came to our table only twice but when they did, we asked for hot water (but they gave us lukewarm water lol is hot water scarce too? We also got extra, extra, extra limes. We used maybe 6 whole limes. Then it became bearable. At the end they almost double charged our table. When we corrected the employee they but man, this place is a no go

Incredible service! I ordered takeout and was unfortunately thirty minutes late for my pick up. My food was cold and I requested kindly if the staff could remake it. They did not hesitate and even gave me a complementary drink while I waited. I don’t usually write reviews but when I tell you I was blown away by the service I had to spread the word! Thank you to Sapeer the GM and the wonderful staff!
