Antidote Tap House - Woodland

The food was tasty, and there was a nice variety of beers to choose from. However, we had to deal with an annoying fly situation. They kept landing on us and our food, which was quite distracting. At one point, I couldn't even finish my beer because a fly was swimming around in it. Although the waitress did offer me a replacement beer afterward, we ultimately decided to leave. Overall, I would rate the food a 3, the service a 4, and the atmosphere a 3.

Such a charming spot! The atmosphere is lovely, and they have some fantastic beer on tap. The price per person ranges from $10 to $20. I highly recommend trying the burger!

I stayed overnight in Woodland and found this restaurant right next to my hotel, which made it very convenient for walking. The price per person is around $20–30. I would rate the food a 5 out of 5, the service a 4 out of 5, and the atmosphere a solid 5 out of 5.

However, the food tells a different story. I ordered the Beef So Gouda sandwich, a cup of the daily special soup, and some pretzel sticks. Unfortunately, the sandwich was disappointing—a lukewarm pile of tasteless, tough beef topped with a scant half serving of gouda, all served on a stale roll. The pretzel sticks were typical of frozen, pre-packaged offerings, lacking any distinct flavor. On a brighter note, the soup was fantastic! The chicken gnocchi was so delicious that it was hard to believe it came from the same kitchen. It was accompanied by a rather forgettable breadstick that was soggy at the bottom. The next day, I experienced some gastrointestinal discomfort, although others who dined there seemed to be fine, so it could be unrelated. If you're just stopping in for drinks, you'll likely enjoy Antidote. I tried some non-alcoholic hop-infused beverages that were quite delightful.
