La Casa Tapatia - Woodland

First time eating at Casa Tapatia. The fish tacos were delicious!!! The server and all employees we encountered were friendly professional and helpful. The atmosphere is very cozy and comfy. We will definitely visit again.

I love this place. Dishes are always hot and taste great! Service is usually really well! Owner is very welcoming and makes us feel like family when we come in. There has been a time where we went in and one of the dishes meat was pretty hard (just not tender and a bit hard to eat) so we asked the owner about it because he likes to come over to the tables and ask how everything is, and he was so disappointed that the food was sent out like that and immediately got us a new dish and didn't make us pay for that dish because of the inconvenience. They also have lunch cards and get a free meal every few times you come in. I'd recommend you to try the deep fried cheesecake for dessert, it's SO GOOD! The place is great to dine in, with beautiful Mexican style interior. I would recommend trying this restaurant

When traveling from Portland to Seattle, dining options are limited. We found a solid, traditional American-Mexican restaurant along the way. The service was good and the chips and salsa were enjoyable. The main dishes were decent, though not quite authentic to Mexico. The rice was made with tomato broth and the refried beans were mild, lacking certain traditional ingredients like epazote. My enchiladas verdes with chicken were tasty, made with a commercial green sauce. However, my spouse's chimichanga was a bit heavy and the shredded beef was bland. The margarita was standard, mixed with a lot of ice, similar to a soft drink. They also had Modelo Negra on draft. Overall, if you're passing through, this restaurant is a safer and better option compared to others in the area, with a friendly staff.

A great Mexican joint, not too far from the downtown area. The strawberry margaritas here are could be stronger, but overall OK. Casa Tapatia has an open salsa bar, which generally I'm a sucker of. I ordered the Tacos authenticos, with steak, and it was really good. I love a good steak taco, that is cooked with a nice crunch, and this place delivered. The tacos included a side of rice and beans, which was good as well. Our server was nice and our food came out fast and hot. Overall, a good dining experience. I would recommend!

The food is absolutely delicious and the hospitality on the staff, including the owner himself, is just another reason to come back. The flan is amazing and to die for!
