The best sandwiches and soup especially the clam chowder in a bread bowl. Amazing service too. I recommend this to everyone. They also have a nice kids menu to too.

Talk about a lucky find! Was hoping that this place was going to be as-good-as any of the more famous sandwich places, but turned out to be the best sandwich shop I've been to in a very long time. The #1 MUST HAVE for a sandwich is good bread, and their sourdough was utter perfection. A great brown crust, a little crunch, and a soft warm center made the ultimate foundation for a Classic Italian and my wife's Turkey sandwich. I cannot write any higher compliment than to say I will always stop here to eat when passing through. Chairs could be softer.

I probably go here more often than I should, but seriously, the sourdough is amazing! I always get the clam chowder bread bowl because let's face it, San Francisco is a bit of a drive for some soup. The clam chowder is delicious, the sourdough is warm and soft yet the crust isn't crazy hard. They have other soups and several sandwiches, but I'm addicted to the clam chowder bread bowl. ? The mac and cheese is pretty good too.
