Feedback gevenI have food handling concerns and safety concerns for the workers at this location. When was the last time this location was Audited/Inspected? My fiancee ordered mine and his food for me though the Panda Express App last night, my order was a plate (1 main 2 sides) of my go-to: ‘Chow mein, Beijing beef and Honey Walnut Shrimp’ and he already had some food earlier so he wasn’t too hungry and decided to only get an ‘Al a Carte’ small container of his go-to: ‘Beijing Beef’ both orders for take-out (AKA carry-out/to-go). We’ve frequently ordered from this location without any problems, questions, or concerns until last night. I was a bit late coming to pick up my food (this location closes at 10:30PM (22:30), I arrived at 9:22PM (21:22) I go in to pick up my food and because of the time, the normally busy restaurant was quiet and, as expected, the staff was cleaning up and prepping for the next work day so I waited for someone to assist me when they could. In the forefront, however, I saw what concerned me: One of the staff members carrying chicken from the grill (or whatever they use to cook their chicken in/on) to the ‘hot plates’ where customers see the food being served from. The problem is that this staff member wasn’t wearing gloves while handling food, nor hair protection but had beautiful long hair, and carrying the chicken with nothing but tongs and a bare hand under the chicken to catch… drippings or if it fell?? What would she have done if it fell and no customers were there to witness it? I speak-translate-understand Spanish, as did the staff. The older woman that served me exclaimed to the staff member holding the chicken (because for a moment she didn’t know what to do) that it was okay and directed her to put the chicken where it belonged.
Update 3/19/2024 frequently running out of Teriyaki chicken. The teriyaki portions have since reduced. Unfortunate. The period at my consistentwith the portions, Siegal even running low on chicken. Disappointing! Update 6/27/23 r store no longer across the survey behind the receipt after you fill it out and get a special code to present to the cashier to get a free entree with a 2 entree plate order. That's unfortunate. They seem to not know how to enter the code we receive in our email in the register and they have decided not to honor it instead! Update 6/2/22 went in early this time. Food felt at the right temperature. The full buffet choices was available. There a bit of a line out the front door. 20 mins later, it was my turn to order. All in all ok. I have if course my files out survey code, got a free entree with my 2 item bigger plate. The Manager Mr Hai was courteous and remembered me and even sent his regards to my Mom, which is a frequent patron. While dining I always fill out the survey and you will get a code for a free entree even the premium entree plus an extra $1.25 free. The service is quick even when there is 4 people or more in the line. The only thing I would like to see is better more generous portions!
