Today, we had the pleasure of experiencing Cloudland Farm's exclusive farm-to-table meal for the first time, and it was incredibly peaceful. It truly embodies the essence of northern New England, reflecting the region's rich farming culture and history. The flavors were distinctive, capturing the spirit of farm-to-table dining—those who know, know! Our server, Meg, who belongs to the family that has owned the farm since 1908, provided a fantastic overview of the farm’s history and was a delight to converse with. We are already looking forward to returning and enjoying a meal by the fireplace on a chilly winter night. Thank you to all the staff! Cheers!
We had an amazing experience! Everything was made with local ingredients, and the dishes were bursting with flavor and freshness. The salad we were served was likely the best either of us has ever tasted in our lives.
The dishes are wonderfully simple, allowing the fresh, homegrown ingredients to shine in a rustic, no-frills environment. Plus, it's BYOB, which gives it a cozy, homey feel. This place offers a special experience and is ideal for a lovely dinner after a long day of skiing.
I can’t express how wonderful our experience was at this restaurant. We enjoyed sitting outside on the porch, which offered a fantastic view of the farm. The braised pork we ordered was incredibly tender and bursting with unique flavors. Our waitress was very informative and patiently answered all our questions about the farm. It was a truly memorable dining experience, and everything was locally sourced! We will certainly return!
