I am so sorry for the harsh review coming but 75 a person for food alone puts you at 4-5 start level restaraunt. Zero star restaraunt. Worst food ever. So so so overpriced. Really looked forward to eating here at the end of our honeymoon was so dissapointed. Worst place ever I do not understand the stellar reviews. Honestly felt like robbery. S I should have spoke up and politely refused to eat or pay for the food after the first course- a dirt salad but didn't want to embarass my wife. Fish- raw! Nasty, the duck? I dont even know what that was that I ate.. it was not duck. Lamb, nasty. Salad...how do you mess up a salad? The vegetables tasted like dirt. Do you not wash your vegetables? **** mary? 7 dollars for salty tomato paste and vomit. Honestly felt like a really bad joke. Do NOT go here. Especially to end your honeymoon. Very disappointing. Save your money. Also seats were super uncomfortable really small tables. Rude waitress. Literally nothing positive to say.
Being in Vermont my whole life, this is probably the best meal I've had in the state. The ambiance has such a classic new england charm and is not overly elegant and stuffy. Local art highlights the walls and candles burn on each rustic ly elegant table. The service from Sarah was top notch. She was knowledgeable, kind, and approachable. Last but certainly not least the food here is incredible. The savory profiterales were as interesting as they were delectable and the schnitzel was the best I've ever had. Not to mention the basque cheesecake topped everything off great. Couldn't recommend this spot more!
Very enjoyable evening. Our server was attentive and helpful. The Country Pate was very good as was the Smoked Salmon. I tried the Carré d’Agneau Royale (boneless Rack of Lamb) and it was very good. My wife tried the Magret of Duck (boneless Duck Breast) and very much enjoyed the preparation. I would absolutely come back. Service: Dine in
