Sally Creek Golf and Bistro - Woodstock

I highly recommend this restaurant! The food and service are excellent. I have visited for breakfast.

I dined at this restaurant for the first time yesterday. My only critique is that the wings did not come with fries, so I had to order them separately.

I am visiting friends in Woodstock. We were looking for a place for Friday night supper. They told me that there really arent a lot of choices. We had on a previous visit had breakfast here and i had enjoyed it. So we gave it a whirl. The service was very good. 3 of us had the schnitzel. Mmmmm....piping hot and full of flavor. It was on a bed of garlic buttered mashed potatoes. Too die for. The meal was complted with carrots and asparagus( local)Very reasonably priced. Comfortable seating , not crowded and not noisy.Way better than a chain restaurant. Our local friends were impressed and will return!

Sadly this place had an apparently good shot at #1. In the words of Dave Hodge "they snatched defeat from the jaws of victory". They need to decide if they are a restaurant or not. open then closed I had them put the closed for private event sign up as i walked up to the door. They are not open regular hours and when they are open as i drive by to a real restaurant the parking lot is empty or nearly. Closing the whole restaurant for an "event" tells your regular clients screw you today we don't need you, but by tomorrow we have found something else. I did.The chef they had may have been overly ambitious but my word he put out some amazing meals. Sadly we are back to over deep fried potato like things for breakfast and well done toast and the same lackluster pub grub you can get anywhere.

Went to celebrate my birthday.....the food was elegantly prepared, well seasoned, beautifully presented and tasted awesome! Every dish on thier menu is worth trying and the staff is always attentive and friendly. Since last year I've noticed a considerable improvement in all areas of service including a revamped totally unique menu. I admire how they incorporate local organic produce and this in itself is noteworthy. I just love the bistro!!!
