Pickett House - Woodville

Excellent food, great service, cute place! I highly recommend it. We went through and found this place for lunch and it was a delicious, unique experience. There's only one meal: Fried chicken some of the best I've ever eaten Green beans definitely the best I've ever eaten Chicken and dumplings that I never liked, but as far as they go, the good biscuits and cornbread were like cracker barrell, but somehow even better potatoes with brown Gravy so good Collard Greens didn't set you a huge fan, but they were good enough that The selection of drinks is sweet and unsweetened tea, lemonade and water. The tea was excellent and also only strong enough. I'm picky about tea, but it was also the right sweetheart. Sit down and they'll get you the food in a car. Another important fact: this delicious meal is ALL YOU CAN EAT!!! The only limit to this delicious dinner is the size of your stomach, which unfortunately meant for us that it was much faster than I wished. If you can eat here DO IT.

Heidi and another young man took care of us! I'll say I'm from Woodville and I haven't eaten here for 15 years. It has so much history in a visit. The food is incredible and it was worth the ride. It is a famous visitor from nearby and far away. I have the chance to mark it from my Bucket List. Heidi just wants to say thank you for 22 years of service and keep the amazing service. It's a must on my Oh The Places I want you to go List, follow me for our next adventure.

The food was great! Hometown Food best! There is a nature trail right opposite the restaurant. You are also other shops nearby

Eat YESSSSSSSSS! Great atmosphere, friendly people, everything you can eat south fried chicken and sides, coffee, tea or lemonade! We're going back! It was a nice ride from Nord-Houston on our motorcycles!

Good tasting food and all you can eat fried chicken, dumplings, mashed taters, beans, greens and biscuits and corn muffins. Boarding house style at a very reasonable price for nowdays.
