Creek Side - Woodward

I stopped here on my way home after a day of fishing at Bald Eagle State Park. The staff was welcoming, the food was delicious, and the prices were reasonable. It’s a nice spot for families with kids, and I felt safe stopping here. I topped my hamburger with freshly cut fries, which were fantastic!

Last month, I traveled from New York to Altoona for my daughter's wedding. The restaurant had a friendly atmosphere and excellent service, and the steak salad was absolutely massive! We will definitely be visiting this place again on our next trip to Pennsylvania.

We had a large group of 15 people, and we had a fantastic experience. The food was delicious, and the service was outstanding. My grilled chicken salad was huge—big enough to feed a small family! The chicken was cooked to perfection and stayed nice and moist. The coconut cream pie was absolutely to die for. Our waitress was exceptional; she provided excellent service and remembered all our orders. The best part was her ability to engage with our group, who love to joke around with the staff. Thank you for a wonderful meal. We will definitely be back!

My wife and I don't often go to breakfast and decided to try the Creek Side Restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised. The staff was very friendly and polite. Although they were very busy, we had our drinks and placed our food order in a few minutes after sitting. Our meals took some time, but were worth waiting. We both had very complete breakfast for less than $20. We will definitely return.

Not sure if these people actually understand the concept of a salad. Got takeout and my wife 's doesn 't look any better. Asked for the fries on the side, which I got. They are at least 24 hours old. Not sure how you mess up French fries. The small amount of iceberg lettuce that is actually contained in the salad is surrounded by globs of semi melted cheese cubes that are stuck together and about a pound of various low quality deli meets. Should have just cooked. Will not return.
