The pizza has changed over the years, perhaps because Joe is no longer there. I hadn't eaten the pizza in at least 4 to 5 years, but in November 2020, I bought a few half-baked pepperoni and double cheese pizzas. I finished my second week. I appreciate the convenience and speed of the take-and-bake option, but there were noticeable changes in the pizza. I always believed that the pepperoni added a unique taste to the pizza; however, the pepperoni on these pizzas was different compared to years ago, affecting the overall taste. The crust and sauce seemed the same, and maybe the provolone was slightly thicker, but the pepperoni made the biggest difference. The pizza is still good, but not as great as it used to be. I probably won't make the two-hour round trip just for the pizza, but I might pick up a cheese pizza and add my own pepperoni to see if it makes a difference. I suggest giving them a try (4 stars), but be prepared for a longer wait time to get the taste that you remember. As a wise man once said, one can always expect things to change.
We were disappointed that the restaurant is only open for today. We look forward to returning when COVID is under control and restaurants are fully operating again.
This is the best pizza in Wooster, Ohio. The crust is perfectly crispy and the toppings are always fresh. It tastes just like when you order it in the restaurant, even after being frozen and reheated. We have also had friends who have had it delivered and they loved it too.
The absolutely best pizza I ever had in my whole life. the personal is very friendly and the pizza is always excellent. Whenever I had order.
I love this pizza, but it's not something that you can eat every weekend. I love the cheese and the beats are plentiful! very garlicky and that.
