Mexicali Cantina Grill - Worcester

The veggie quesadilla on the menu is described as “Spinach and mixed vegetables with Jack cheese,” but what I received was a far cry from that. A three-year-old could probably make a better version! The cheese was puffed up, and they included only bland boiled carrots and a single piece of green pepper, with no sign of spinach whatsoever. It reflects poor management, as no one came by to check if I needed refills on chips or soda. I will definitely not be returning.

The dining experience started off wonderfully, but then I encountered a disappointing issue. While this was frustrating, it wasn't the worst part. When I received my second plate, the shrimp were outdated and I was shocked to find that they didn't remove the dish from my bill, even though I hadn’t eaten it. I won't be returning to this restaurant and advise others to be cautious about their food safety, as it appears they do not maintain proper cleanliness standards.

I recently dined at a few Mexicali restaurants, and I found it to have a lovely and relaxing atmosphere. The staff was friendly and attentive. However, the food was just average; it was decent but not outstanding. I could see myself returning if I were in the area, but I wouldn't specifically make a trip for it.

Excellent margaritas! carne asada was delicious. blanco enchiladas with seasoned beef were great! loved the fried beans, they have a part of the bean still recognizable I am a fan of this style vs the fully mixed version. is that they calculate extra for acidic or guacamole - something I think should be included for the price only a small one!

2nd time here. Margaritas were a bit weak. First one didn't have any salt on the rim even after the request. Papa fritas con steak was delicious and worth.
