Pepe's Italian - Worcester

Went here for lunch, i got the carbonara and it was terrible. it had no flavor and the noodles were undercooked. i told the waiter i didn 't like it and he said have you never had carbonara? did you think it was different? i said yeah i just don 't like it he says this is real carbonara straight from italy and said he could not take it off the bill. i told him it was okay i just wouldn 't eat it, and then he comes back later on and offers a pizza instead which i agreed too. the pizza was pretty good but he still charged me for the pasta which was more expensive than the pizza. when it came time for the bill, we just wanted to split it two ways, he agrees and then comes back with one bill saying he couldn 't split it but can do it with two cards. he comes back and my friend tells him what to put on what card and he laughs and says guys i know then says to figure it out ourselves because of the tax , we ended up just having to put it on one card. i will say they have very good portions but other than that the service was bad and food wasn 't that great. wouldn 't return here.

No garlic bread no piccata salad dressing was terrible only two options rude service

Ordered the $22 Rocky Pizza and it came with no toppings. Only a bit of cheese on very undercooked bread. What kind of place sends this out? The other Dominic Pizza I ordered was also missing ricotta cheese. Terrible.

They made it right! I ordered Chicken Marsala. When delivered, the person stated both mine and my husband’s meals: Chicken Alfredo and Chicken Marsala. I thought immediately my was not the usually Chicken Marsala even mentioned it to my husband. But never been to the restaurant before I started to eat it and the dish was very good. Half way through the meal, who I believe was a manager or owner came to the table asking how things were. We said very good. And I mentioned by meal was not like other Marsalas I had before. He looked at it and said that it’s Piccata not Marsala! Without me even saying more he said I’ll made a new dish for you ! Shortly after, a fresh full portion of chicken Marsala was delivered!! And it was delicious!!! He apologized if the error and without question made things right. We’re from RI and if back in Worcester would definitely go back to Pepe’s!!! Thank you. ps and yes the waitress wrote down the correct meal of chicken Marsala! And the chicken was definitely fresh and tender.

I read some bad reviews before eating at this restaurant which almost caused us not to go. Went to Pepe's as a party of 6. 4 adults 2 kids. We had a great experience, everyone's meal was fantastic. Portion sizes were good and prices decent. We all left happy we decided on this location for our dinner. We will certainly be back!
