Sushi Miyazawa - Worcester

This is the best sushi I've had in the United States. It's quite rare to find a place that genuinely feels like a traditional Japanese tavern, but the cozy and intimate atmosphere at Miyazawa captures that perfectly. I can't comment on everything on the menu, but the dishes I tried were incredibly authentic, reminiscent of what I've experienced in Japan. One thing to note is that the restaurant has a limited number of tables, so it's wise to make a reservation, especially on weekends. It's BYOB, and you can request chilled glasses. With the very reasonable prices for the sushi, you can enjoy a luxurious meal without putting a big dent in your wallet.

This is, without a doubt, the best sushi I've ever experienced! If you're a sushi enthusiast, you absolutely have to try this place! Even if you're just a fan of California rolls, be prepared to expand your palate here! The standout was the Miyabi roll, which we devoured before I could snap a photo—it was truly an incredible explosion of flavors, definitely a 10/10 recommend. The restaurant is quite small, so I suggest making a reservation. We're pretty sure one of the chefs has even cooked for the Emperor!

Miyazaki offers the best sushi (and fish overall) I've experienced since relocating to the Worcester area. The ambiance is charming and cozy, complemented by an impressive selection of dishes. The fish was exceptionally lean and fresh. Their specialty rolls feature some unique and tasty choices. Overall, this place truly deserves a five-star rating, and I definitely plan to return to explore more options. I highly recommend it—10/10!

Would recommend reservation because they seem pretty busy even on a Sunday night. We arrived very early without reservation but were able to get the bar seats. The onigiri omakase I got is delicious! Even though the uni was sold out for single order, I was very excited when they told me it’s included in the omakase. Def would come back if I’m in the area again.

Update: They now offer dine-in options, and I highly recommend it. Experiencing the full menu and interacting with the staff and chefs elevates the dining experience to a whole new level. The salmon chazuke is simply amazing. This place is truly a gem in Worcester—ほんとうにおいしかったです! (It was truly delicious!)
