The District Wood Fired Kitchen

The restaurant wasn't crowded, and we chose to sit outside. They had a nice selection of beers on tap. Both the Caesar salad and the Vietnamese salad were excellent. The portion sizes are mostly meant for one person. The pizza was well-cooked, although it could have been baked a little longer for a crispier crust; however, it was still delicious.

The outdoor seating was delightful! The waitress was extremely attentive and kind.

I made a reservation for Sunday at 4 PM on May 21, 2023, mainly because the desserts advertised looked incredible. Unfortunately, they were sold out of three of the five desserts on the menu, which was a major disappointment. On a positive note, the staff was fantastic. However, the side salad was simply a mound of mixed greens with dressing—nothing more, just lettuce. Additionally, the salt and vinegar fries lacked any real flavor.

Very happy there is a patio dining area. An element to create more division from the parking lot would be nice. Shrubs, lattice, etc. The food and cocktails were absolutely delicious!

I enjoyed the selection of brunch menu items though I thought the price per person was rather steep. Would've liked to see an omelet station for those kinds of prices. Maybe next year?
