Feedback gevenThe restaurant had beautiful views and a great location. The food appeared to be appetizing, but unfortunately, we did not have a chance to sample it.
Offers far more style than substance. The food was average at best, with small portion sizes and bland flavors. The service was slow and unattentive, and we found ourselves waiting for long periods of time for our orders to be taken and then delivered. Overall, we were disappointed with our experience and would not recommend this cafe to others.
Time of day. The menu offers a great selection of dishes, all of which are delicious and well-prepared. The staff are always friendly and attentive, making for a pleasant dining experience. I highly recommend the Waterfront Cafe for anyone looking for a fantastic meal with a stunning view.
Sorry have been before and I think they are new people or fill ins for a monday.Iced coffee in small water glass and tasteless, (asked if we wanted cream or icecream) wanted icecream. After asking where it was "mixed into it" very strange as thought it would be on top, would they have mixed the cream in also? Anyway it was very weak, hubby asked for it to be stronger ( think they made a fresh one instead of adding coffee) so it was the same weak flavourless coffee( couldn't be bothered to tell then again it was too weak and no flavour) I Had the sourdough with sun-dried tomato, feta and pumpkin, sounded delicious but the bread was more a biscuit being about 1/4 inch thin and about 3inch long (oval in shape) hubby had sourdough sandwich which was 1/2 inch thick and about 6inch. long (what I would expect). This all cost $35.00. Sorry not impressed even if it is a quiet place to sit near the river, they need to improve immensely but we wont be going back to find out so many more better and less expensive places in the shire these days. P>S. It also took forever to get our sourdough creation, and only two others eating at the time we arrived.
