I was slightly disappointed with the menu, as it was not very adventurous. However, I decided to start with the salt and pepper spare ribs, which were tasty but a bit greasy. For my main course, I chose the scampi, which was served piping hot and in a generous portion. I tried a half of the Banks's dark beer, which had a 3.5% ABV, suitable for when I'm driving. Unfortunately, the staff did not ask if I wanted another drink, so I decided to pass. The best thing about this place is its location, and I look forward to returning in warmer weather to enjoy the views of the River Dee from the terrace. Overall, the cost per person was between £20-£30, and I would rate the food a 3, service a 4, and the atmosphere a 3.

Overall, this restaurant is a great choice for a delicious meal at a reasonable price. The Sunday Roast comes highly recommended.
Food portions extremely small for the price that is charged. The black pudding stack consisted of 2 thin pieces of black pudding a piece of bacon and some peppercorn sauce. The portion of the steak pie wasn’t much better. Portions do not justify the prices charged. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
