Love fish chips from Josies chippy! It's been a family work favourite for years its always been well worth the wait/queues! Everything we've had is always delicious. We've had chicken curry from here a few times now though the curry is lovely but there's hardly any chicken in it!!!! Last chicken curry from josies literally had only 3 small pieces of chicken in it (we counted) which was extremely disappointing. Prefer to go to the Spar in Rhosddu if we fancy chicken curry chips on lunch break now. Delicious, cheaper loads of chicken! It's crazy that A Spar can out do a very good chippy when it comes to chicken curry and chips! To the owners of josies chippy : Grab yourself a chicken curry at midday from the Spar in Rhosddu put the same amount of chicken in yours you will have very happy customers

The queues outside should tell you something. The best fish and chips for miles around. Fresh hot and tasty. Well done

Yesterday, while visiting the area, we stumbled upon this fish and chip shop and we were so glad we did. The fish and chips were fantastic and offered great value.

My wife had been recommending this place for fish and chips, based on her father's love for it 20 years ago. Let me tell you, she was right! We ordered fish and chips for two with curry sauce for less than ten pounds. It's no surprise there was a line outside at 12:30 on a Friday afternoon. I highly recommend this place.
