Very nice eating and good service, but I recommend booking a table or coming early. as vegetarian I found only options in the menu and please note that the menu was only in German and not translated into English.

Typical to use Bavarian food in a very local restaurant. good eating with a Bavarian taste along with a very interesting restaurant. it will definitely recommend for your visit to veitshocheim, but look at some of the restaurants along the river. the service was very slow as the locals are preferentially treated.

Old world inn on the main street. no parking near, but free city parking just a few minutes walk. room very nice, but small with good shower. nice breakfast. helpful waitress/receiver at the arrival. good evening. very good wine selection.

Here you enter in a typical Frankish atmosphere. The restaurant is very cozy and nice traditional decorated. I've been here with a colleague, the waitress gave us a place by the window in a room with a fireplace where we totally enjoyed the warmth, she...also helped us choosing the courses. The food is typical from the region as well as the rather huge wine assortment. Finally we had a good red one. My choice has been a Wels-Catfish filet... unfortunately the way of cooking was not really my favorite, but not always new dishes can surprise in a good way. Anyway, can't say that was bad. About the price, can say reasonable in general.
