If you want a delightful meal with excellent food at a very reasonable price then go along to Pios We have visited at lunchtime and also in the evening. The service is very friendly and personal. The setting is delightful with views overlooking the Abbey I had rump steak and the others had lasagne and also an omelette Great atmosphere and Pio himself comes to check you are happy with the food Definitely going back again
We visited this restaurant for a family gathering before Christmas day. The menu was displayed on a blackboard, but when we tried to order 4 chef's steak pies, we were told there were only two available. We switched our order to scampi and roast pork instead. The chef's steak pie was overly salty with undercooked pastry, and the scampi consisted of only 9 pieces on a plate. The lasagne was not to our liking and most of it was left uneaten.
We just had a wonderful evening, celebrating Burn’s Night at Pio’s Restaurant in the White Horse Hotel in Pershore. Wonderful hospitality by Pio and his great staff. Festive music, great food and even a wee dram. We met interesting people and a good was had by all.
We had passed by the hotel many times, but not tried the restaurant, so we went for a midweek dinner with a friend The owner and waiter were very polite and explained the menu options fully, including the specials Two of us had the menu special carbonara. Very nice, but had a ridiculous amount of peppercorns. The other diner had the mozorella salad starter which she liked, including the dressing, which she never normally has . The Flambéd banana desert was delicious and well worth reserving space for trying.
