The Pear Tree Country - Wychavon

Everyone gathered at the Pear Tree after the funeral of my daughter in laws father, the whole hotel is beautiful in a lovely setting , the staff were cheerful ,helpful and efficient, the food was top class fresh and wholesome highly recommended

The pub food at this restaurant is simple but satisfactory. The dining room has a generic corporate atmosphere. The meals will satisfy your hunger, but they lack any exciting flavors.

The restaurant had a great atmosphere and good food and service, but unfortunately, the experience was ruined by the poorly managed function. I attended a social event with around fifty people as a guest of the host society. Everything was going smoothly, with enough bar staff and a good selection of drinks. However, things took a turn when the food arrived. Starters were late, and some guests didn't receive their meals at all. The waiting staff seemed to disappear, and it was left to the host's organizer to sort out the situation. There was a problem with the fish, and the function manager, who seemed to have trouble communicating, was hesitant to address the issue. Eventually, a compromise was made, but the evening was still a disaster. On our table, some of us had finished eating before others had even received their meals. Despite good coffee, the overall experience was very disappointing. This was not the first time I had a negative experience at this restaurant, and I will not be returning. I hope The Pear Tree takes steps to improve their handling of such issues in the future.

It appears that this hotel is mainly used for conferences and weddings parties, if your after a peaceful retreat in the county dont book this hotel . Party guests were loud and noisy up to 4am , the hotel is very dated, very uncomfortable single beds, the shower is far too low on the bathroom wall you have to bend to get your head under the shower , will not be returning to this hotel

This is a charming hotel located just off J6 of the M5, tucked away in a peaceful countryside setting. The rooms were comfortable and roomy, equipped with all necessary amenities. The staff were friendly and very accommodating, with a special mention for Colin who went above and beyond to assist. The food was delicious, although the menu was slightly limited. A wider selection would enhance the overall experience of the hotel. I would definitely return for another stay.
