The tables were not cleared, the staff seemed untidy, and overall the café did not appear to be kept clean enough. Despite ordering toasties and tea, we had to wait 25 minutes for our food after receiving our tea at the till. I have to give credit to the young man who was working hard to prepare the toasties quickly, but unfortunately the staff did not deliver them promptly to the tables. I ended up having to collect our order myself to avoid waiting even longer, but by then we had already finished our tea. It's sad to see how much this café has declined, and I don't think I will be visiting again in the future.
I recently visited the Cafeteria in the Marks & Spencer store at the Eden Centre in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, England. Unfortunately, my experience on Saturday 26/11 was again disappointing. The restaurant, while large and family-friendly, is consistently untidy and lacks cleanliness. The staff appear disheveled and seem to lack proper hygiene training, with female staff members not even bothering to tie back their long hair in the kitchen area. The seating arrangement is messy and overall it is not a comfortable place for a quiet, clean dining experience. The food is served by staff who do not appear well-kept and do not practice proper hand-washing. There seems to be no manager overseeing the young staff or available to address any complaints. Overall, it is only suitable for a quick visit and is overpriced. I would not recommend this restaurant.
I asked for help on the shop floor from one of two assistants. One said she was busy interviewing. I had to make it clear that I was a customer. The service in the cafe was slow and unfriendly. There was no salt or butter available. There was salad on display, but it wasn't listed on the menu. This was not the level of service I would expect from Marks & Spencer. I was quite surprised. McDonald's is better in comparison.
There's something nice about overlooking the town and watching the world go by. The cafe only does light lunches and snacks but it has nice atmosphere and good seating
I normally go around the time where it is not that busy , which is perfect for me and it’s not that bad plenty of tables . Food is good very well done and the iced latte with caramel I’ve got twice now as it’s my favourite drink in the world lol .
