This restaurant allows you to bring your own alcohol, which is fine. However, the service felt somewhat lackluster and the food was average at best. The menu was standard with nothing particularly special. Overall, the place seemed a bit rundown, much like the food and service. It was not the most inspiring choice on our list of curry houses and takeaways to try. On the bright side, the parking was convenient and the prices were reasonable. Despite that, I probably wouldn't go out of my way to dine here again.
I have dined at Ranasana on multiple occasions and found it to be just okay, not as good as other Indian restaurants in the area. However, my most recent experience was terrible. I ordered cauliflower fritters and was disappointed to not receive any yogurt sauce with them. To my shock, I later discovered that one of the fritters was actually a piece of scampi! Thankfully, I do not have any dietary restrictions, but this mix-up was completely unacceptable. Additionally, they charge £2 for taking leftover food home, even if you provide your own containers. This is a policy I have not encountered at any other Indian restaurant. I strongly recommend avoiding this establishment.
We are frequent visitors to this restaurant and we believe it offers great value for delicious Indian cuisine and outstanding service. Bring your own drinks. The staff are all very friendly and willing to accommodate any requests, making it perfect for any occasion.
Cracking little place. Decor nothing to write home about, but the food is lovely. Ate here a few times, taking advantage of the £9.99 midweek meal deal!! Check it out. Plenty of food, no scrimping on portions. I've been about 6 times now and never cold or greasy! Staff very friendly and welcoming. Could do with some other fish on the menu other than prawns (supplement)!! But apart from that, quality. Added bonus of no drinks license and no corkage! Tesco metro next door! Cheap night out! What's not to like?. Booked tonight for a friends birthday!, if it's gone down hill since last time 4-5 months ago I will update my review and let you all know!! Other than that get down there! No It's not Maliks or Mr India but if your looking for a good meal out without breaking the bank!! Go for it, give it a try.
Visited the restaurant as a family. Wouldn't go back again, the service was unfriendly, we were not made to feel welcome, the drinks were warm and the food was cold. The decor needs updating and looks dirty. We won't be going back.
