Damn, that was a tasty meal! We had the chilli jam pork pad ka prao, both were full of flavour and had a nice spice to them! Dessert was amazing, we had the deep fried bao which was an interesting take on bao but definitely worth it. Service was friendly and the atmosphere was buzzing. I'll definitely be back!

We came for dinner and were so so impressed! The staff were friendly and so helpful. We ordered the pork belly skewers which were to die for, as well as the chicken satay skewers which were amazing too. We also ordered the pad Thai, and the chilli jam pork belly which were both so nice and flavoursome! 10/10

Honestly haven't had a good meal in Auckland that takes me back to authentic Thai flavours like you have. The beef brisket jungle curry and satay skewers are highly recommended. Thank you for taking us back to fond memories with all these non-westernised flavours!

Went with a group of friends to Po Bro’s for dinner and drinks on the weekend (Opp. Little Easy at the top of Franklin Rd). The ‘Ms Ho’s Som Tum’ was really tasty, with a good amount of spice and really fresh crunchy ingredients. The soft shell crab and pork belly included in the dish were tasty and a good addition to the traditional Som Tum dish it balanced out the spice well. The ‘Pork Belly Chilli Jam’ was basically a really flavourful curry with tender pork belly loved it. Thai Larb Salad is a personal favourite, but I’d never tried a duck one until here and I wasn’t disappointed. Try the crunchy chicken skin entree too. We ordered based on the staff’s recommendations, which was good because we had range of different dishes with different textures and tastes Spicy, Zesty and Rich, which all balanced out nicely. It’s quite different to any other place in ponsonby. It’s not pretentious and is the type of place that if you have good company you can stay for hours rather than eating and moving on to bars afterwards. The vibe was good and so was the food. Chur Po Bro’s, I’ll be back to try the rest of the menu later!
