My recommendation for bar food or if you're dining in, is their cheesy cauliflower bites... It was out of this world. The portion size is average as far as bar food goes, but it is well worth it.<br/ <br/ The nachos were... Well nachos, and so it met my expectations which weren't very high to begin with, but they used to offer DIY fajitas which were good and I didn't see that on the menu the second time. <br/ <br/ To drink, my fave was the falling water one from the 42 below menu. <br/ <br/ The food is good but the drinks and service is brilliant. Would go back any time simply because I like how we were treated.
Awesome place, awesome service. The blonde british female manager treats the regulars very well! Love coming here for a few beers after work on Friday and on Tuesday for their 2 mains for $30 deal.
The working lunch special $20 for main and a house drink) is great to drop in and grab something easy and delicious. The staff are super chatty and friendly and always make us feel welcome. <br/ <br/ Also a great place for some after work drinks the cabanas out back are the best no matter the season those heaters are perfect).
The Windsor Castle has been the heart and soul of Parnell for 169 years. Established in 1847, the Windsor is one of the oldest establishments in the country, and has undergone extensive renovations to restore it to its former glory. Today, the local has been well and truly resurrected. And thanks to the forward thinking management I came here on a Grab One voucher and gorged on the Salt and Pepper squid and a cold one or two back in November 2010. Nice atmosphere and good food.
I just wanted to thank you all for a lovely night we had at the end of March. We were encouraged to try new things and I tried a lovely melon liqueur and my partner tried a drink called coralaho or something and we were most impressed with them. We are now going to look for these drinks when we go out and feel quite cosmopolitan in our new drinking habits. A great night and thank you very much.
