Laxmi's Indian Grille - Wyomissing

Used to be the most authentic Indian/Asian restaurant in wyomissing area. Were regular visitors and have even recommended to many. Everything has changed since the last two months or so. The last 3 times the food has been disappointing, not the same taste anymore ?

We always order take out but tonight we dined in . What a great experience!! We never had bad food from laxmis. We love Indian food but fear trying anywhere else local bc we know what we are going to get at laxmis and it’s going to be good. There isn’t a dish we have ordered we don’t like. We always leave with a bill around 40-50 but we also always have left overs for a second meal. My only request would be butter chicken, they have only butter chicken salad

Was a wonderful place to enjoy a meal when they first opened. Very nice and respectful service.

The food is good here, no doubt. The curry is really good here. Have been a regular customer here.I had to give 2 stars because I was deliberately overcharged last week when I ordered pickup for a 'chat ' over the phone. When I went to pick it up, I was asked to pay$ 9 before taxes and fees. I asked the cashier to confirm and he told me that is the correct price. Being kinda introvert I did not discuss further paid and left. But on the online menu and even in Uber eats I can see even today it is not$ 9 at all. 2-3$ is not a big deal as money but I did not feel good about the experience of being overcharged for no reason especially from my to go place.

This is our families go-to for Indian in the Reading area. Fantastic food, never had any complaints!
