They served hot pizza, curly fries, chips, a cold collation, open sandwiches, a variety of dips, and gateau/cheesecake. The Sadlers bitter was also excellent, and the bar staff were very helpful. I highly recommend this place!
My husband, son, parents, and I had a fantastic day at the Harriers. We booked the hospitality package and enjoyed a delicious meal along with an entertaining football match. This was our third visit and once again, the service and food were excellent. We will definitely be returning in the future.
The staff at this restaurant were unfriendly and impolite. The prices were high and the food was of low quality. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The atmosphere was uncomfortable and the staff did not provide good service. The security staff seemed eager to kick people out. Avoid this establishment.
I was extremely disappointed by the attitude of certain members of the staff at a recent party i attended at this venue, not only did they upset the hosts they cut short the evening by calling time early and were seen to remove glasses that still had drinks purchased by guests in them. I was sat at a table close to the buffet and noticed a member of staff help himself to what i would call nibbles on two occasions as he passed, not very professional in my view especially as they are supposed to be trained and licencesed people. All in all an evening ruined by unprofessional staff and many guests who will never enter the venue again.
My husband and I booked our joint 30th Birthday party at the Aggborough Suite, an event that we had been planning for a while and we were both really looking forward to. On arrival at the venue on the evening I went and greeted the DJ the bouncer (who we were required to have by the venue! I said to both of them that I would pay them both right away to ensure that they were paid and it didn't get forgotten. I went and got the cash and paid them both there and then, £150 to the DJ £50 to the bouncer. I then didn't think any more of it and went away to enjoy our party. Around an hour and a half later the bouncer approached me when I was alone at the bar and rather abruptly informed me that I hadn't paid him, I told him that I had paid him at the start of the evening as soon as I greeted him, he was rather rude and informed me that he didn't have the cash on him (Almost implying that he had lost it! I assured him that I had paid and I went to confirm with the DJ that he was happy he had been paid (Which he was! and ask him if he had seen me pay the bouncer which unfortunately he had not! In hindsight it would have been wise to get a receipt, so a very large error on my part, but one I won't make again! I went and spoke with my husband, who the bouncer was also rather rude and threatening too and my husband ask the bouncer if this matter could be resolved after the party, so's not to ruin our evening. It became pretty apparent at this point that the staff were going to do anything possible to ruin what was supposed to be a very happy evening for us! The bouncer and other members of staff were very rude to us and all our guests all evening, Members of the staff were seen eating our buffet which we had paid for per head and they then shut the party down early claiming this was because we hadn't paid the bouncer Even though we had paid over £500 to hold the party there and would not be the sort of people to pay that much and then not pay £50! The staff were then taking drinks out of our guests hands that they had literally just paid for and asking them to leave, it was totally uncalled for, all of our guests were well behaved and polite and did not deserve to be treated in this way The staff were the only people behaving appallingly! Once outside they then refused to let us back in to collect some of our belongings and when my husband spoke to a woman who called herself the bar manager about this and their behaviour towards our guests she then turned around and accused him of spitting in her face! Even though he was stood with around 6 people, who none of them saw this and believe me the only time I have ever seen my husband spit is when he is cleaning his teeth! The staff were adamant to ruin what should have been a very happy night for us We have only just received our £100 deposit back yesterday (01/11/16 and the party was on the 15th October and this was only through us chasing the club for answers and CCTV footage to prove my payment and the spitting incident Which were of course inconclusive! If we were guilty people we would not be chasing for them to look into CCTV and to resolve this situation! I feel we have been treated totally unfairly and our good name tarnished by the people at the Harriers, it was very upsetting and embarrassing for me in front of our guests, we are both professional people and I am certainly not the sort of person to not pay for something. I will never set foot inside the club again and I feel it is only fair to warn others about this appalling experience.
