This charming pub by the canal is perfect for enjoying a meal and a pint. Sitting outside in the sun, you can watch the narrow boats passing through the lock right in front of you.
Such a lovely surprise find today. Loved the food. 5 different meals for 5 people all loved their meals. I feel very relaxed after a chilled afternoon in the sun eating good food in a beautiful setting by the locks
This charming pub sits right by the canal, offering diners a picturesque view of narrow and barge boats navigating through the lock. The food is delicious, representing true pub grub, and they have a great selection of ales. The location is also convenient for campers at the Wolverley caravan camping site.
We had to interrupt in wolverley because of unforeseen circumstances, which unfortunately ended up well. our tasty bite was then a nice drink in the curl and two portion chips. a very nice pub, although it is directly on an busy main road from wolverley village that crosses the canal with wolverley bridge. if they wanted a pub right at the canal, the...Wolverley curly is right next to the bridge and near the road! They can watch how the canal boats come or go on the outside seat area, which has beautiful tables and sun umbrellas. say hello to the canal boats while they are here and great places to see all the different style and decorations of the canal boats. the curly inn pub is a fascinating place and the building dates back to the 16th century when it was apparently cottages. about the years into a pub. they told me that the curly inn predates the channel itself, wow and hard to believe how it feels as it is part of the channel!. the personal was friendly and welcoming and the chips and drinks were perfect. thank you for the happy guesthouse for the relaxing experience to relax our previous care of the day! we had a short look into the old smithy tearoom on the way back to our pitches and it looked nice, maybe next time we're back on the canal.
