The Fox Chaddesley Corbett

Coming from America the sound of a Carvery was interesting. Back home there are no places left that cut beef in front of you. The staff was very friendly and made us feel at home right away. This is a locals restaurant and pub. Vegetables are local sourced and my wife really liked that they were not over cooked. Having traveled recently in several large cities, the 12 pound, 3 course meal was an absolute bargain. The taste of the food was also a very refreshing change compared to normal bland restaurant food. It is not a fancy place but neither am I. The Carvery offered Turkey, Roast beef, and two kinds of Pork. The plate was large and we were given lots of meat. The vegetables were self serve. The special offers a single to thru line. I could not eat my full plate so I am going to say the portion is normal to large. Deserts we 're good according to two in our party. Like I said I was stuffed from the main course. The Fox Inn is a must stop in if anywhere near the area!

I used to frequent this restaurant when staying in Chaddesley and was pleasantly surprised by the good value and delicious hot food they served. I recently brought two friends for a meal on our way back home and we were impressed by their weekly carvery option. For just £12.00 each, we enjoyed a 3-course meal, with the choice of either the carvery or items from the main menu. The carvery was particularly delicious, served on hot plates and with friendly staff. The restaurant was bustling with activity and their marketing strategy was impressive. I urge other expensive and supposedly upscale restaurants to follow suit and offer such affordable and satisfying options. I highly recommend this place.

Went in for a Sunday carvery meat was lovely veg ok potatoes a problem not everyone wants garlic potatoes on a Sunday lunch need a choice of boiled. Crumble and custard the custard came in a jar that I'm sure should be for milk for coffee we poured the custard on the desert spoon and there was one full spoon full !! Cobwebs on shelving and wood panelling and the window blinds are filthy with thick dust not inspiring when eating . The whole place could do with a bit of TLC

I was very conflicted about leaving a review, because I always want to be able to get a table! Had an incredible lamb rump main, also great starter and pudding, but the lamb dish was absolutely amazing! The service was brilliant, friendly and efficient, I really couldn’t have enjoyed my visit more. I’ve already rebooked

Great meal. Lovely mushroom starter, nice deconstructed pie and dessert. And all for £12. Service was very good. really enjoyed my meal and evening as did others in the party.
