Proper 'old School ' pub, run how pubs should be run. What 's better than watching the football with a great pint and fantastic home made cob. Cheese onion and black pudding really is super.

Really lovely pub, very friendly staff with a homely feel to it. Some beautiful traditional features, such as the mini range stove and sympathetically decorated in a nod to the pub's history, but nothing about this place is old fashioned. There's a large selection of drinks available, and very modern facilities in the loos. I'll definitely be going back.
