Chester's - Wytheville

I was disappointed to find that there was never any chicken available when the restaurant opened. I’m unclear about how this is supposed to operate—should the chicken be fully cooked by opening time, or does it start cooking right when the doors open? Either way, it was frustrating to see that there was no chicken ready. Overall, I would rate the food a 1, the service a 1, and the atmosphere a 1.

The restaurant is dirty and appears to have not been cleaned all day, and it's already 3 PM. The woman taking orders at the counter is rude and seems uninterested in her job. I attempted to order gizzards, but she informed me it would take at least 45 minutes to an hour to fulfill my request. They were out of nearly everything. This is the worst Chester's I've ever visited. Food rating: 1.

Parking: There’s ample parking, and it’s a nice area for walking dogs. Kid-friendliness: Definitely kid-friendly. Service: Takeout. Meal type: Lunch.

First the food is delicious, prices are good, and the people are really nice. It is not a sit down restaurant, but tables and chairs are stacked on the side walls and there are games on each table so you can have something to do while waiting. The food is fresh so it is worth the wait! We asked if we could sit and eat and they said yes. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner
