Miyamoto Kazutomo Baseball Classroom - A lunch meeting with the local Shodoshima Island staff. With 50 years of experience in tempura, the "two granddaughters" who had been to Osaka were able to help out, and not only was the food delicious, but the topic of "girls' baseball" also sparked lively conversation.

The appearance and interior of the restaurant have a drastic difference, with the exterior looking like a run-down building that may make you hesitate to enter, but don't let that deter you. Once you push through the curtain, you'll find a beautifully maintained restaurant run by a couple with a sophisticated and elegant demeanor. They serve freshly fried tempura and a variety of other dishes over the counter, which is a stark contrast to the tempura shops in the city. You can enjoy a reasonably priced meal and drinks at this restaurant and have a wonderful evening.

When I traveled to Shodoshima, I visited this restaurant for lunch. The tempura was served on a plate at the counter, and it was freshly fried and expertly cooked - absolutely amazing! The owners also took the time to tell me about Shodoshima during my trip. They were a very kind couple, and it was a lovely restaurant. I would love to visit again.
